Most people like the Quest for the elegant styling, smooth operation and well-equipped and comfortable interior. But with so many great new products on the market, the Quest is no longer high on their list. Still one of the best equipped minivan on the market, the Quest rolls into 1997 relatively unchanged.
Features include integrated child safety seats, three-point front seat belts with height-adjustable upper anchors for added user comfort, anti-lockout power door system, and automatic on/off headlamp system with sensors that turn on headlamp at dusk.
Apart from its stylish appearance and car-like feel,the Quest scores highly in flexible seating arrangement ΓÇö in the GXE model, the seats can be arranged to create 24 possible combinations. The second-row seats can be folded down into a table, folded up for more cargo space, or folded away up against the front seat. The 151 horsepower 3.0-liter V6, driving the front wheels, is derived from the engine that powered the previous Maxima GXE model. ABS is standard on the GXE and optional on the XE.
